The Niche design team is excited to share news of its latest refurbishment project, this time for the London City Airport. Located in the Royal Docks in the London Borough of Newham, London City Airport is the fifth-busiest location by passengers and aircraft movements serving the London area.

Drawing inspiration from airplane hangars and runways to accompany the client’s new branding, Niche’s designers envision a bright, modern and dynamic environment accentuated by large-scale wall graphics. The neutral grey-and-white scheme forms a clean backdrop for the vivid colours of furniture and bespoke wall features, while the concrete-finish vinyl flooring emulates materials used in hangars, bringing an industrial feel to the office space. To further emphasise the industrial look, ceilings in the kitchen area will be left exposed for extra height and character.
